PondSheet

About PondSheet

PondSheet sizes site detention for New York projects in the browser. An engineer drops a pin on the site and picks the rainfall source the town requires. They enter the drainage areas before and after development, the pond’s stage-storage and its outlets, then read the routed result against the NYSDEC criteria they select. The report shows every input, with the SWMM 5 .inp and the model file beside it, so a reviewer can check the numbers rather than take them on trust.

What it does not do

  • No CAD or grading. The site map locates the project; it is not a drawing.
  • No storm sewer networks, culverts or channels, beyond a channel segment in a Tc path.
  • No 2D flood modeling or large-watershed studies.
  • New York only, for now: one rule set, the NYSDEC design manual, by edition.
  • No desktop or phone app. It runs in the browser.

Who is responsible

The engineer who seals the report. PondSheet does the arithmetic on the inputs given and says which method, data and edition it used. It checks against the criteria you select and never speaks for the DEC, the town or the reviewer.

Who makes it

PondSheet is made by Crux Labs LLC, which also makes RiserSheet for fire sprinkler designers. Write to [email protected].
